The PUBG MOBILE Naruto event transformed Paris into Europe’s biggest Naruto celebration to mark the launch of PUBG MOBILE Version 4.5 and its blockbuster NARUTO SHIPPUDEN collaboration. Thousands of anime and gaming fans converged on the French capital for an immersive weekend of activations, hands-on gameplay and community-led experiences.

Over an action-packed weekend, Paris became a Naruto playground with onsite activations at Japan Expo, Les 4 Temps – La Défense, and multiple city-wide installations inspired by the world of Naruto. The celebration blended gaming and anime culture through exclusive content, themed installations and a headline Naruto Run that saw fans recreate one of anime’s most iconic moments together.

  • 17 creators and influencers in attendance
  • 167 fans and cosplayers at the Naruto Fan Meet Up

The weekend featured hands-on play of the new PUBG MOBILE × NARUTO SHIPPUDEN content, immersive themed installations, exclusive merch and community-driven programming. A dedicated PUBG MOBILE × NARUTO SHIPPUDEN tour bus visited Paris landmarks, bringing activations to audiences across the city and helping the collaboration reach a wide offline audience.

Activations, programming and creators

Fans enjoyed a range of experiences including interactive booths at Japan Expo, POP-UP installations at Les 4 Temps and a curated creator programme that amplified the event across social channels. The activations included photo opportunities, cosplay meetups, and community challenges that encouraged attendee participation and content creation.

Creators and influencers joined the programme to host gameplay sessions, meet-and-greets and live streams, contributing to the event’s strong social footprint. The combination of physical activations and digital reach resulted in significant engagement and visibility for the collaboration.

About PUBG MOBILE Version 4.5 collaboration

The offline celebration coincided with the launch of PUBG MOBILE Version 4.5, one of the title’s most ambitious updates. Developed under the supervision of the Naruto Production Committee, the collaboration brings iconic Naruto settings into PUBG MOBILE gameplay.

Players can explore locations such as the Hidden Leaf Village, Hokage Rock and the Final Valley, while mastering signature ninjutsu including Rasengan, Chidori, Shadow Clone and Flying Raijin Jutsu. The update also lets players unlock themed content and character-inspired items featuring Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Hinata, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Gaara, Madara and more.

The overwhelming turnout and strong content performance across platforms reinforced the cross-cultural appeal of the collaboration, showcasing how anime and gaming fandoms can come together through large-scale real-world activations such as the Naruto Run in Paris and other community events.
